There really weren't any big announcements this year. It was a rather quiet, workaday show. The Dragon/Dungeon/Dragonlance announcements hit just before the show, and there was a little buzz about those, but it was subdued.
Green Ronin's announcement about A Song of Ice and Fire was the big one; note that it is not going to be a True20-based product, as Chris Pramas has mentioned that they will develop a whole new system for the game in order to take into account the nature of the story.
The biggest news, really, was the return of Avalon Hill's Titan through Valley Games. I've no idea how they got the license, but for board gamers, this is like the holy grail of "games we'd like to see re-published."

Oh, and as Mark said, Kenzer & Company had Aces & Eights at the show. I wanted to grab a copy and run off, but those guns they had seemed a little too real...
