Game balance

I have been reading John Norman's Gor novels lately and have been thinking of using that as a setting with the Conan D20 rules. I would remove the magical abilities of the scholar class and add in the feat or skills replacement that are suggested in the book. This setting would have winged mounts as well as other mounts of exotic animals. Could this or something else upset the balance of the Conan D20 system? Is there balance in the Conan D20 system?

Gor... It has been a long time since I have read any of those (I think I only own three). A lot of people on the Conan boards think it is a good system to use for Gor and I agree. Even flying horses wouldn't throw it out of whack.

Is there anything of a non-magical nature that you can see or have ran into that would throw the system out of whack?
