I've never gotten to go to a big gaming event, and the closer one is, the more likely that I will be able to attend...

I'm not sure about gaming cons in DC, but there are a few game conventions in Richmond, VA every year, which is just down I-95 from DC.

There's also CastleCon and EveCon. and JohnCon at Hopkins in Baltimore.

I was big in the RPGA stuff there. There's a con next weekend for the RPGA but its pretty much sold out. There's another one Dec. 12-14th in Crystal City.
