The funny thing is Victory Games was part of Avalon Hill  a wargaming/board game  company at the time . They were not a major player though Powers and Perils still has its adherents and Runequest 3 by them as quite good and introduced the sorcery system still used in RQ/BRP to this day. Some also considered the Magic Realm board game as a kind of RPG too,. Avalon Hill didn't mind selling RPG material but it wasn't really in its wheel house so they gradually faded away from that kind of stuff. Not bad at all to quit  while you are ahead Also if you can't get a copy somewhere it has an excellent retro clone called Classified. Its published by Expeditious Retreat press. There is even an adventure for it, Operation Rogue Lion. Its also a great way to update some game assumptions. too if you want go go modern.Last a basic web search will bring up more than a few fan adventures , a version of From Russia with Love and several from 4Eyes all free.</blockquote>
