There's also usually at least one party NPC that a player can take over for a while if necessary. And as most other things wear off but death kinda doesn't, we usually try to get dead (or stone, or long-term-captured) PCs either revived, recovered, or replaced with a new PC at the first realistic opportunity.</p></blockquote><p></p>
