The Prince of Winterfell

Sounds like it could be an excellent episode. The previews already show that Theon meets up with his sister Yara (Asha from the books). I hope it plays out somewhat like it does in the book.

I'm guessing that Robb is betrayed by - book spoiler - [sblock]his mother Catelyn, when she lets Jamie loose. [/sblock]

And, finally Stannis & Davos return. They've been gone for a few episodes now. They need to set up the budget busting episode 9 - Blackwater.

I wonder if Arya's last name will run similar to the book - book spoiler - [sblock] where Arya names Jaqen as the last death she wants.[/sblock]

Good episode, but it was mostly setting up the big stuff for the penultimate episode.

Catelyn's decision to release Jaime definitely comes across as less sympathetic than in the books where she thought Bran and Rickon were dead and not just captured. It's going to be enormously enjoyable, however, watching the Brienne and Jaime traveling show.

The changes to the Arya story were a little disappointing, but I've learned that the showrunners are adept at tweaking things in unexpected ways. The last episode is entitled "Valar Morghulis," so hopefully we'll see some stuff there that we missed this episode.

Really wanted to hear another, "You know nothing, Jon Snow." They better bring it in force next season.

I'm very excited for the next episode. We should finally get to see some epic battle scenes.

I liked Daenery's story in the book a lot more than I have this season. Too much of the fascinating small details of Qarth have been cut while we've been stuck listening to Daenerys proclaim who she is over and over. The House of the Undying scene better be worth it. ;)

Any episode that features Arya kicking ass is a top episode by me. Her grabbing Hot Pie by the ears and going for Needle when faced by Rorge (or was it the Biter? I can't remember). I also liked how they handled the Tywin thing as that was something I was concerned about. And then, the best moment of all, "Jaqen H'gar" :D

The Jaqen naming scene was excellent, though I was disappointed at the lack of Weasel soup. But giving the streamlining of the Harrenhall storyline, it makes some sense. They've got to get Jaquen's coin to Arya before the end of the season, and get his big reveal in there somehow, so I suspect we'll be seeing him again.

Whoever called Ros being subbed in for Alayaya called it right. It only makes sense, given that she's the only other prostitute we know well enough to be invested in. Poor Ros has not had a good time of it this season, and I still predict a grisly demise for her ultimately.

Good to see the Lord of Bones, and looking forward to the progression of that storyline. Nothing in the Riverlands was that surprising to me, though there mere fact that Robb had a tumble in the hay, doesn't automatically get us to the inevitable results. I'm wondering how that will play out.

I mentioned it on here about Ros subbing for Alayaya. I think I had heard it as a possibility on either Tower of the Hand or Westeros.org.

Not sure what is going on with Jon Snow, though.

Talisa/Jeyne looks good out of her messy clothes.
