anyway, maybe i'll send out a small teaser for games i run....
Planetbound - Planetbound is a long time homegrown game that mixes Star Wars and Star Trek (along with other various Sci-Fi genres) into a captivating narrative. An unexplained phenomenon known as "Sundeath" threatens to destroy nearly every planet in the universe. In a desperate attempt to survive the coming cataclysm, governments rush to several planets on the far reaches of explored space for safety. Isolated and trapped on several different enormous planets, the survivors war over the precious resources of the planets.
Currently i’m working on Planetbound:Ringworld, a creation of one of my friends. Here is an excerpt –
Because it began slowly, it was first assumed that the planet's resources were fading because of nearly a decade of fighting since Sundeath. But when surface gravity began to fluxuate and the first masses of the planet began tearing off it became apparent that Sundeath had a much more damaging effect than first anticipated. The planet that was to be the savior of the galaxy was dying...
Rotation speed and axis began to shift severely, causing massive earthquakes. Natural resources; water, mineral, plant, animal disappeared at an alarming rate. As the hollow planet shrunk and broke to pieces, massive plates of land floated into and were torn apart in the atmosphere, causing earthen hail storms that killed thousands. The surface oceans fell into the reverse gravity of the planets undersurface. And as the planet died physically so too did its strength in the Force...
But ultimately the Force would be the planets only hope. It was a gifted padawan that would first discover the Ring of Life Force that circled what was left of the planet. If the Jedi of the Federation could <tie> a strong enough weave along this circumference, a ring of the planets inner and outer surface would be preserved and millions saved.
It took nearly a year of study before they were ready, but with the aid of a powerful artifact the Fellowship of One-Hundred <sealed> the True Ring and let the rest of the planet fragment away.
We are thus left with what has been our home for more than 100 years... a near lifeless, small halo of dirt. All that remains of a once grand planet...

Next , the world of Glory –
Glory was a completely new idea, built from the ground up by yours truly. The idea was a mix of fantasy and steampunk, an it’s turned out rather nice. Here’s an excerpt from that:
The cosmos, an endless expanse of celestial bodies formed and sustained by the Founder, the source of all power and the creator of Glory, a shapeless and uninhabited world at the center of the universe. Dividing his power into seven parts, the Founder created the Cornerstones, objects of vast, immeasurable energy. From these Cornerstones the Titans were born.
The Titans, immortal sons and daughters of the Founder, spent countless millennium, shaping and developing Glory. Together they formed the Construct, a parallel realm where the Titans would design and create life. For a time they peacefully worked side by side, producing the races and species of Glory. But that peace would not last…
The Titans grew jealous of one another, and contention rose between them. Great battles broke out, and the Titans took up commanding their armies against each other. The eldest Titan, Kravin provoked hostilities between his fellow Titans, keeping them at odds. Meanwhile he withdrew into the Construct, blocking off the other Titans from entry, where he sat in wait.
Titans clashed against Titan, their armies slaughtering each other on the battlefield. Kravin though preserved his power, assembling an army within the Construct, while his followers moved in the shadows, attempting to capture the Cornerstones for their master.
With the armies of Glory nearly spent, Kravin revealed himself, possessing all seven of the Cornerstones. His army of Draden, monsters born of shadow, spilled onto Glory sweeping over those remaining. One by one the Titans were defeated and imprisoned within the Cornerstones themselves. All hope appeared lost and Glory was fated to be enveloped by evil.
From the ashes of Kravin’s destruction a small band rose united who represented the free peoples of Glory. They would stand against Kravin and his Draden. The arrogant Titan dismissed them, reveling in his victory, but they would prove to be his downfall. Legend tells of the heroes who stood against the forces of evil as being pure of heart, courageous and determined. United they fought through countless waves of Draden to reach Kravin. The battle which followed shook the very foundations of Glory. Many of them fell against the Titan but in the end, Kravin was defeated.
With the world on the brink of destruction, a small group of heroes had returned hope to Glory, but not without loss. With the Titans imprisoned, the free peoples of Glory would rule themselves. Time would pass though, turning those memories to legend. Legend would eventually fade to myth, and even myth is in time is forgotten, and it is then, that evil stirs…
