An unexplained phenomenon known as "Sundeath" threatens to destroy nearly every planet in the universe. In a desperate attempt to survive the coming cataclysm, governments rush to several planets on the far reaches of explored space for safety. Isolated and trapped on several different enormous planets, the survivors war over the precious resources of the planets. </span></span></p><p><span style="color: #222222"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana'"></span></span></p><p><span style="color: #222222"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana'">Currently i’m working on Planetbound:Ringworld, a creation of one of my friends. Here is an excerpt –</span></span></p><p> <span style="color: #222222"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana'"></span></span></p><p><span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: 'Segoe UI'">Because it began slowly, it was first assumed that the planet's resources were fading because of nearly a decade of fighting since Sundeath. But when surface gravity began to fluxuate and the first masses of the planet began tearing off it became apparent that Sundeath had a much more damaging effect than first anticipated. The planet that was to be the savior of the galaxy was dying...</span></span></p><p></p><p><span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: 'Segoe UI'">Rotation speed and axis began to shift severely, causing massive earthquakes. Natural resources; water, mineral, plant, animal disappeared at an alarming rate. As the hollow planet shrunk and broke to pieces, massive plates of land floated into and were torn apart in the atmosphere, causing earthen hail storms that killed thousands. The surface oceans fell into the reverse gravity of the planets undersurface. And as the planet died physically so too did its strength in the Force...</span></span></p><p></p><p><span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: 'Segoe UI'">But ultimately the Force would be the planets only hope. It was a gifted padawan that would first discover the Ring of Life Force that circled what was left of the planet. If the Jedi of the Federation could <tie> a strong enough weave along this circumference, a ring of the planets inner and outer surface would be preserved and millions saved.</span></span></p><p></p><p><span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: 'Segoe UI'">It took nearly a year of study before they were ready, but with the aid of a powerful artifact the Fellowship of One-Hundred <sealed> the True Ring and let the rest of the planet fragment away.</span></span></p><p></p><p><span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: 'Segoe UI'">We are thus left with what has been our home for more than 100 years... a near lifeless, small halo of dirt. The idea was a mix of fantasy and steampunk, an it’s turned out rather nice. From these Cornerstones the Titans were born.</span></span></em></p><p><em><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'"></span></span></em></p><p> <em><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'"></span></span></em><em><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'">The Titans, immortal sons and daughters of the Founder, spent countless millennium, shaping and developing Glory. Together they formed the Construct, a parallel realm where the Titans would design and create life. For a time they peacefully worked side by side, producing the races and species of Glory. Great battles broke out, and the Titans took up commanding their armies against each other. The eldest Titan, Kravin provoked hostilities between his fellow Titans, keeping them at odds. Meanwhile he withdrew into the Construct, blocking off the other Titans from entry, where he sat in wait. </span></span></em></p><p><em><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'"></span></span></em></p><p><em><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'"></span></span></em><em><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'">Titans clashed against Titan, their armies slaughtering each other on the battlefield. Kravin though preserved his power, assembling an army within the Construct, while his followers moved in the shadows, attempting to capture the Cornerstones for their master. </span></span></em></p><p><em><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'"></span></span></em></p><p><em><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'"></span></span></em><em><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'">With the armies of Glory nearly spent, Kravin revealed himself, possessing all seven of the Cornerstones. His army of Draden, monsters born of shadow, spilled onto Glory sweeping over those remaining. One by one the Titans were defeated and imprisoned within the Cornerstones themselves. All hope appeared lost and Glory was fated to be enveloped by evil. </span></span></em></p><p><em><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'"></span></span></em></p><p><em><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'"></span></span></em><em><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'">From the ashes of Kravin’s destruction a small band rose united who represented the free peoples of Glory. They would stand against Kravin and his Draden. The arrogant Titan dismissed them, reveling in his victory, but they would prove to be his downfall. Legend tells of the heroes who stood against the forces of evil as being pure of heart, courageous and determined. United they fought through countless waves of Draden to reach Kravin. The battle which followed shook the very foundations of Glory. Many of them fell against the Titan but in the end, Kravin was defeated.</span></span></em></p><p><em><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'"></span></span></em></p><p> <em><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'"></span></span></em><em><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'">With the world on the brink of destruction, a small group of heroes had returned hope to Glory, but not without loss.
