[QUOTE="athos, post: 6197588, member: 32605"] Hello there, I live out in Placerville, which is about 45 miles east of Sacramento. I have not had great luck finding a game since I moved out here a couple years ago. Not sure I would be up for a home brew game, but I do like D&D up to 3.5 and Pathfinder; the newer stuff isn't for me, tried it and don't like it... I do like 3rd edition and earlier Shadowrun and Rifts as well, but mostly I am playing Pathfinder online these days. I could host a game here, at my house, if people were willing to make the drive, or I would be willing to drive in twice a month if there were a game in Sac. I would prefer to play, I seldom get to play, or maybe GM if we rotate GMs in a "known" world. The problem with homebrews that I have seen in the past is that people are too attached to them and when you make a change, they freak, so a commercial world tends to be a more neutral grounds to play on. My perfect choice would be a Pathfinder game set in Forgotten Realms, I have always wanted to play a FR game, but have never got the chance. I tend to play human sorcerers that specialize in diplomacy. Nothing too out there :) If there are more people in the Sac area, please chime in and we will see if we can get a game going... and if there is a full time GM, I will be willing to bring pizza or other goodies.
