You play as a hardened criminal and after many years the sins you've committed have finally caught up, it's time to pay the price by being sent to the dreaded Tower; looming large over the surrounding towns the mere sight of it purges illegal thoughts from the locals, it houses some of the most heinous of individuals including the legendary cannibal Bob, a man who needs no introduction.However, before being sentenced to your new life, the corrupting forces of evil have taken over and fortunately for you the authorities have offered you a most generous deal; all you have to do is fight through multiple levels of the prison and slay the evil forces that have taken over and in return your prison time will be dropped from mulitple life sentences to just one life sentence.With an offer like that and a licence to slaughter anyone who stands in your way, you head inside...GAMEThis edition of the game sees you fight through the first level of the prison tower. Each turn you draw a location card, refer to the gamebook for what this means (or simply read the card if you have purchased the custom deck) and determine the best way to handle the occupants and events that occur. You will be constantly deciding how far to push your luck with your decisions. After ten locations (turns), you draw a final boss and final encounter location - assuming you have survived that far!A full game, where you survive to the final boss and location, lands typically between 30-45 minutes. Which we think is a perfect length of time for a game like this.REPLAYABILITYAs the game has you draw from multiple shuffled decks of cards, as well as rolling on equipment and resource tables, each play through is unique and different. Additionally, there are three final bosses, and three final locations.
