He was captured and surronded by the enemy because he was an elf they were holding off killing him. The DM was giving a lot of hints that he could bluff is way out by pretending not to be with the cavern we were traveling with. So the cavern is mentioned and out comes "but their my friends". The sound of the rest of us groaning and slapping our foreheads was heard. The DM's face went from shock to who well and all the bad guys pulled thier swords.</blockquote>
