So I'd ask for Spot rolls, get totals, and say something like, &quot;Wizard, you see something moving behind some leafy plants ahead of you; ranger, you see a pair of humanoids hiding behind some ferns at about one o'clock; halfling, you see a jungle.&quot; Now, even the PCs use it (once, while attempting to turn undead, the GM asked for my results -- I said, &quot;I think I see the jungle.&quot;).&quot;You hear bogs darking&quot; -- late one night, I mangled the phrase &quot;You hear dogs barking&quot;. I now use it as all-purpose nonsense filler, as an answer to an out-of-left-field question (&quot;What kind of clothes is the kobold wearing?&quot; &quot;Uh, you hear bogs darking.&quot;), or occasionally to trip up people who aren't paying attention (&quot;...and then you hear the bogs darking&quot;).</blockquote>
