Gamer discrimination Stories needed for Threat Detected Podcast

All right folks. We're going to share with you the drama from last night's game. It luckily happened while we were recording the round table. It involves someone acting on behalf of the student organization that co-sponsors the Saturday gaming night being quite reprehensible to our group. This is actually the first time as a gamer I've felt such contempt and want to know how you have handled adversity. Gamed at a coffee shop and been forced out because they thought you were worshiping satan? Been part of a student gaming group and been framed by a custodian who dislikes gamers who planted a bottle of booze in a classroom and blamed it on your group, getting your group kicked off campus? Let's get serious and talk about gamer discrimination.

First, FYI, that font color you have chosen is nearly invisible against ENWorld's "Legacy" black background style. Its completely invisible in Legacy when its in quotes.

Second, I got into the hobby shortly before the "satanic panic" of the 1980s, and have a fairly religious family and upbringing. Much of the flak I encountered was grounded in that. However, I have encountered a little bit of mockery from non-religious types.

For the most part, I've ignored it: it seems to be grounded in typical anti-nerd cliquishness, so confronting the ignorance will do no good.
