Well, I finally got a chance to read through this PDF. It's not too shabby, and would make a good addition to most D&D games. Since I'm a contributor to it, it doesn't seem right for you take my word. So:

I was listening to Robert Plant's "Hurting Kind". The beat and the avatar are in perfect rythm. _That's_ scary.

That was the nice thing about seeing the preview copy as I was able to give some feedback that I felt had a positive change in the book.

I encourage anyone looking for more 3.0 monsters to give it a whirl. The ironic thing is that many people who now have two or three books out got their start with some of the material in this book but due to various issues, those other products got out the door first.

Good point. Gaming Frontiers is the magazine that put Monsters together for sale. I'll adjust the thread title.

I can't believe the error that d20 Magazine Rack caught! Especially given that the error appears on one of my monsters!

I fired off an email to a head honcho at Gaming Frontiers about the mistake on the kartonak's stat block. Since this is a PDF, I'm hoping it'll be easy to fix and get the corrected version to purchasers.

It's actually been out on the market for a few months already. Not 3.5 updated. Also, "Beasts" is something of a misnomer as the creatures in that section aren't all beasts.
