Ok, I'm back on the forums and making some announcements.
Inner City Games Designs is the parent company (now - used to be the sister company - semantics) of Hekaforge Productions; the company that Gary Gygax and I used to bring you Gary's Lejendary Adventure.
After 25 years, we have re-written our old Inner City(tm) role playing game, and are due to release the new version, Playin' in the Streets (PitS) this coming month (May 29th to be exact).
Synopsis? You're a crook caught in a bad 70's cop show.
Ok, its a bit more involved than that, but that's the gist.
We should soon have free character creation downloadable rules for the system available on our website.
Free downloadable adventures are also going to be available from the site.
The game is VERY violent, not completely serious, and a whale of a good time. For instance, in our first playtest, 47 deaths ocurred of which only two were characters.
Imagine something like Grand Theft Auto and Vice City backed by a fast-playing rpg with more action than a Saturday night in Las Vegas.
Enough blurb... I also need to know who'd like to review the book for this website, and thereby recieve a free advance copy. If your interested, post here... but don't post your address. I'll pick a reviewer from those who post, announce it, and send the bookvia the exchange of private e-mail .
I had posted this just before the boards crashed... so my apologies to those re-reading it. We have found reviewers but are still seeking someone to help percolate Quickstart Rules for free download. It pays... a little, and you get a free commercial copy of the rules.
