Voidrazor - I've looked over the basics, but haven't done a lot of the math yet. Just FYI, there's a lot of stuff on your character that I don't know off the top of my head, so it may take a while for me to work out what does what. The most important question right now is : How do you cast all your divine spells? I can only presume from the fact that you have 9th lvl spellcasting with 5 wizard levels that all of your PRC's are adding to your wizard casting. (Something you should point out for those PRC's capable of adding to multiple classes, such as Loremaster) As such, what is allowing you the ability to cast higher than 1st level divine spells (Magic Vestement, Persistent Divine Favour, Greater Visage of the diety, etc)? Rathan - As I stated when I made the ruling, the freedom vs paralysis thing will be on a case by case basis. Myth (And anybody else who cares) - Bear's level breakdown: 2 LA, 3 Choker (Monsters Manual: They don't actually have an LA, so I made one up)] 1 Monk, 1 Barbarian - PHB 6 Horizon Walker DMG 5 Bearwarrior, 2 Warshaper - Complete Warrior And for his feats, they're all from the same sources (PHB, Complete Warrior) except the multigrabs, which are Savage Species. The breastplate is made of all core enchantments stacked onto a single item. The cost came out to around 700,000 GP. Also, to your other questions: Not neccesarily, Evil items don't automatically bestow negative levels, that's only items that specifically say they do - just like an item has no effect on an evil character soley by virtue of being 'good'. It's still evil, though. Actually, barbarian is one of the weakest strength boosters in the game - at least, by itself. The bear had 18 base str +6 Racial +5 levels +5 Inherent(Book) +6 Enhancement=40 base. (Whoops.. I messed up the bears base stats, he should have been 4 stronger... lucky you guys) The Bear Warrior class means that when it rages, instead of the normal bonuses it becomes a large brown bear, and it gains + 16 str, +2 dex, +8 con instead of taking the Brown Bears physical stats(As would be normal for a shape-changing effet). Warshaper gives +4 str and +4 con whenever you're shapeshifted. Total str = 40 'unshifted' + 16 bearshaper + 4 Warshaper = 60 str (As stated above, I actualy had it 4 lower than it should have been). Warshaper's 2nd lvl class ability: Immunity to Critical hits and Stunning Effects (When shapeshifted) Because it's a requirement for the Horizon Walker PRC - Which he was supposed to be using to teleport around when needed, but he got feebleminded instead. Frenzied Berserker(and Warchanter, Oroz's other PRC which gives him the 'gift') are from Complete Warrior, just like the Bear's PRC's - It's a very good book. Yep. Nope, I'd forgotten at that moment that he was immune to crits, I shouldn't have rolled the crits. Probly a good idea. ;) Well, one person knows their alignment Arineil knows that the extra holy damage on her sword affected Rho and the Bear, meaning those two at least are(or were in the bears case) evil.. Though it's true that you guys did start the fight, when all they came for was a talk. Being a descendant of War, Rho was easy to goad, but it was still him reacting to PC aggression that caused the fight. They came in saying "We want to talk to the old man, we don't want to fight you, go on your quest like you were about to do so we can talk to him", and the PC's response was generally "F*ck you, the old man who we weren't sure whether or not we wanted to listen to 30 seconds ago says your a murderer, so we're all going to assume that you're evil!" Basically, what happened was I described three people who LOOKED like badguys, and gave a (At the time neutral seeming) NPC a single line that led in a similar direction, and from that point on the party committed itself almost immediatley to a fight. The closest any party member got to even trying diplomay was Chevik saying "Please" before telling them to leave. On that note, I have to ask - Where did everybody get their views on being threatened from? Multiple people referred to being bullied and threatened and endangered, but the NPC's had done nothing hostile until after said posts. My turn to ask A question, And I'd appreciate an answer from each of you: Why did you treat them as hostiles, and do you plan on doing so with all NPCs you meet that aren't immediately introduced by the DM as "GOOD GUYS DON'T KILL PLSTHNX". Was it just because of the way they looked? What the elder said? Why did you choose that point to start believing the elder when before there seemed to be a debate on whether or not to even go along with his 'quest'?
