Gargoyles?

C. Baize

First Post
So... My wife did a preliminary work up for Gargoyles (from the Disney cartoon series of the same name) for D20 Modern... If you're interested in checking it out, and discussing it, it can be found on this website in the tools section... currently the last entry.

I'm sort of wavering between the LA as it is, or possibly one higher.

It's okay, but a lot more is needed. There needs to be a worke-up for the smaller gargoyles, the gargoyle dog (Bronx), the mutants, the clones (Thailog), elves, and natives of Avalon. The mecha stuff can easily be taken from MGPs' OGL Cybernet. A brief history of the Gargoyles is also needed. I would love to see a write-up of the Phoenix Gate. I would love to help in fleshing out a sourcebook for playing in the Gargoyles universe.

The license for a sourcebook would be quite the coup.
This is a fan thing, however, just something to add in some play options. :)

I had a lot more done back in the 2e days - but it got shuffled onto a back shelf (and since lost) in the wake of the conversion.
Like C. Baize said, this is pure fan stuff. I'll re-do what I had done, as time permits...

Yes, it would. However many fans of Rifts and D20 have merged the 2 into a sourcebook that can be used by all, that is if you can find them. I am blessed with having such a file. When I said 'sourcebook' I didn't exactly mean a softbound or hardbound book, just an e-book (PDF) made by the fans for the fans. That's just my 2 cents worth.

Now there was a movie called Gargoyles back in the 70s which would make for a great arc for a modern game. it involved a race of gargoyles living in a remote desert area and while by the end of it the human had destroyed the eggs and nursery the alpha male and female fled in the end.

Thailog doesn't need a seperate writeup as he really was mechanically no different to Goliath (being a clone and all), I suppose Lexington does need a different write up but what you have seems to cover all the others pretty well. Perhaps Lexington was a goblin with wings

Bronx could be modeled using an existing creature from the MM - perhaps an awakened dire boar? The Children of Avalon are all pretty much unique creatures but generally fit as Nymphs and Dryads. The New Olympians are all unique creatures too and could be anything

We really only leaves the Mutates needing a write-up - any volunteers?
