Each round that a creature remains within range of the effect, another Fortitude saving throw is required. The save DC is Constitution-based.</p><p></p><p><strong>Rend (Ex):</strong> If Ashcoate hits with two or more claw attacks, it latches on to the opponent’s body and tears the flesh.
