The way it works is:

1) You give the editor your email address.
2) Every so often, a Pitch Call goes out by Email to every writer on the editor's list.
3) You respond with your pitches. Brief overviews of the articles you want to write, some samples of what they'll contain, etc.
4) All the pitches are copy-pasted into a big file with no identifying information, at random.
5) A few days or so later, weeks if there's a lot of work to do, the editor looks over the pitches and picks some.
6) The people whose pitches were chosen get to write an outline or rough draft to submit.
7) If you're doing well, you get paid 5 cents per word and sign a contract that gives ENPublishing control over that piece of writing for 1 year.
8) Polish it up into a final draft, and turn it in with any art requests.
9) After 1 year, your writing reverts to your control and you can publish it wherever you like.
10) Profit.
 

Is the editor only available on the Patreon, or is there another way to get that email?
I understand if only Patrons are invited to contribute - unfortunately, that’s not in my cards right now. But if that’s not the case, I’d love to get on the list to get alerted for pitch calls.
 

Wickett pinged her. She's working with the Business Manager to set up an appropriate Submissions email address for people to offer themselves up to. Currently, it's just been people who worked for ENPublishing on other projects and EN5ider, but not by design, just happenstance.

When she gets around to it Zan will add you to the email list, and you'll be a notified when the next pitch call goes out!
