So I'm building a battlerager as a backup character for the druid I'm playing in a Banewarrens game and I'm finding myself very unimaginative when it comes to his gear. He's an exceptionally strong shield dwarf from the spine of the world who is a bullheaded, hard-drinking, greataxe-totin', bad axe mamma jamma. If the druid dies now, the replacement axe idiot will likely be 7th level, though it's possible his entrance to the game could be delayed all the way up to 15th level depending on my tree-hugger's luck. I know I want the dwarf in spiked armor with a greataxe and a horned helm, but can I get some help with the rest of it? In my experience, mid to high level melee characters require high damage, high hit points, and the ability to fly and see invisibility to be viable. If it matters, the build I'm looking at is brb3/ftr2/battlerager5 with any subsequent levels being in frenzied berserker. So feats are pretty much tied up in the prereq's of endurance, power attack, cleave, destructive rage, and intimidating rage. Iron Will and Bullheaded should add to the rage will save modification and a cloak of resistance to hopefully keep accidental party homicide down, but I figure they'll be giving a battlerager a lot of space to begin with. Which of course means, he'll probably need some form of healing. Maybe a greataxe of wrathful healing from Enemies and Allies. And if I've got the money, tacking on berserking from Unapproachable East would seem appropriate too. But what do you guys think?
