GEN CON any news on DDm figures?

I have seen the Garg Orcus but was there any other "sneak peeks" of figures for Novembers Desert of Desolation set?

I think they cancelled this due to the impending release of the 4th edition miniatures (which aren't compatible with 3.x).

Have the Gelatinous Cube, Mummy, the new Troll, and the new 'Fire Elemental' thing been shown yet? I have pics, but I'm sure they are out there somewhere...

Shoe had them at the DDM seminar (along with the Umber Hulk that we've seen in previews already).

I haven't been following the 4E news that closely. Is this true or a bit of hyperbole?

The cube looks pretty cool, as does the umberhulk (if only I had it for Umber Hulk Smash in the Shackled City AP). Mummy seems alright, the troll and elemental just don't do it for me.

He's only partly kidding though, they ARE releasing DDM v2. The last 3 sets and then 60 "all stars" will get stats updated to the new version. The others will not be compatable with the new version.

BTW - The GC has a removable base, so you can place minis inside it when they get engulfed.

And that's not actually a Fire Elemental, but I can't remember what they called it. It's a new monster for '4dventure'...
