Gen Con blues

I haven't been to Gen Con in a few years, and this year with it being quite a bit farther away than it once was (especially with money being tight now), I will be unable to attend

I have a favor to ask my fellow EN Worlders: could you guys post pictures and document your experiences there? I'm also particularly interested in some of our "insider's" experiences, such as staffers, designers, freelancers, and even our humble moderators.

Is it sad that I have to experience a the greatest geek-fest ever vicariously through people I haven't technically met? (jk )

I imagine I might have something to say when its all over as this is my first Gen Con. I'm sure there will be plenty of pictures, especially of a pantsless Hal.

It's closer to me, now, so... in a year or two I might try going. It depends on how Mom's health does.

I had an opportunity to go to Origins a few years back, when it was combined with DragonCon; that stands out as one of my best convention memories, period. I might have to try that one, first.

I know how you feel. I went once a few years ago. Since then I've picked up a car loan, moved out of my parents house and a student loan. No Gencon for me for a long time.

So I hope to also live through others in the gencon experience.
