The game has real pewter charms, gold/silver/brass plated pieces, real wooden nuts, a color rule book and yes, a laminated playing board. Spill water on it and it will not be ruined.All that said, if SHE is not satisfied, I will give her a full refund.I am sorry you think the game is not worth it. We heard very different at the con.
