They do rely on LARPers and masqueraders for eye-candy, and crack some jokes afterwards on whether any women were there or just men roleplaying women, but the overall slant is "here's something that's big and fun" and not the "here's what some weirdos we found under a rock are doing" you'd expect from a mainstream local news.</blockquote>
