I did not just get back but upon return I find a friend in the hospital, and that I have left my phone charger in Indie! Ack! Anyways, I showed up, and as I was leaving to register, I ran into Cthulhu's Librarian, Buttercup, Truth Seeker, (Crothian?) in the elevator. This was my posse until the Ennies, then CL and I switched over to Hellhound and Teflon Billy's fair band of rapscallions, (including Stone Angel, an unknown, Leonard and possibly another) and proceeded to the RAM, where delayed we (I) ran a mile to get cash, and we (the rest of us and later me) feasted on beer and food. Not to be demoralised by our delay (or a 1mile run), we split the party, got lost using our honed adventuring skills, found the rest of the party and proceeded to the Red Garter. There much fun was had. Saturday started quite well, with an effective foray into the dealers room. However, Jester47 said yes to too many things, and had to leave too many games. After about 6 hours of playing the red shirt, finding more deals in the dealers room, missing a talk and a costume contest, I ran into Truth Seeker and his friend from New York. We had a great conversation about the industry and then we went to Hellhound and Dextras little canadia party. There I hung out the rest of the night gabbering and went home at 2AM. And lo the third day. I awoke, gathered my wits, made myself clean and proceeed to get breakfast. There I ran into an old friend who I traded words with for a few minutes and then went off to the dealers room. In the dealers room I met Wayne Reynolds, Sean Reynolds, bought the gamers, talked to some other folks, stopped by the art room, then dropped by the ENWorld booth one last time and then headed back to my hotel as it was 10 till 11:00 and my plane left at 12:15. I packed (forgot my phone charger) and called for a taxi. Checked out and was away. A note about taxis. Don't get a taxi. Get a towncar. These guys don't have meters. And they are very very fast. With a flat rate, if you tell them to step on it, they do. I was at the airport in 10 minutes. Thanks everyone for such a great time, I look forward to next year. Aaron.
