[GenCon/FDP] Gaming Event

Red Baron

Apologia: Moderators, forgive me for putting this post here as well as in the General forum, but I can't keep bumping that one forever... ;)

The Event

Ever want to play an ogre mage and raze a paladin’s keep? Does thinking of those shiny do-gooders just make you want to enter a berserk rage? Well, we’ve got the game for you!

Fiery Dragon Productions will be running a single 4-hour session of 3.5 D&D, featuring our adventure The Giant’s Skull (revised for this event only!), at GenCon on Saturday, July 26, starting at noon. This is not a scheduled con gaming event, so you won’t find it in the official event listings; rather, it'll be a pick-up style game, and we’re taking players on a first-come, first-served basis. The four players involved will each receive a free copy of FDP’s Counter Collection IV: World of the Diamond Throne, a supplement designed for use with Monte Cook’s new Arcana Unearthed (which will be available at GenCon), at the end of the session.

If you’re interested in playing, please let us know at our message boards (http://www.fierydragon.com/cgi-bin/...ic;f=2;t=000075), and make sure you leave an email address with your post so we can contact you with our booth location and other pertinent information. Also, be sure to post even if four or more folks get to the thread before you, since you (and we) can’t guarantee that everyone who’s interested will actually show up at our booth at the con, so runners-up might still stand a good chance of getting to play…

That's awesome, folks. Keep the interest coming! (Those who piped up for a sibling/friend/etc., could you please get them to post with contact information as well?)

I'll be getting in touch with you all in the next week or so, and if necessary (no guarantees at this point, though), maybe I can arrange to run a second session for the later folks who sign on.

Cheers,

I've seen some of the revised material, and if you wanna get a handle on the new 3.5 rules, why not test them out with an ogre mage!!!

:)

Cool. Great Work, Scott.
