[QUOTE="EOL, post: 309934, member: 823"] Leopold had pregenerated all these characters using Jamis Buck's NPC generator and then entered them into this program called...What was it again? E-tools? no I remember now, PCGen. (j/k) I love Jamis Buck's NPC Generator and probably use it just about every week, but as far as generating playable PC's... There are some issues. One character had combat casting, but no ranks in concentration, another had 13 ranks in profession bookkeeping. The Barbarians were all armed with daggers. As I recall my 13th lvl sorcerer had such giant killing spells as sleep, in addition to 48 hit points and a 15 AC. Nevertheless First Edition Hill Giants are no match for 13th level characters and it was pretty much a massacre. I didn't even get to use Chain Lightning. (Just so the evening wouldn't be a complete waste I used it later on some orcish slaves). All in all it was tremendously fun Leopold was a great DM and took the massacre we inflicted on his hill giants in good stride, though I think the psychological defense mechanism of refering to himself in third person and the nervous tick he developed may require further counseling.
