Hi,
My name is Keith Done and I am the organiser for all gaming events at Gencon OZ 2010. I have an interest in all genres of tabletop games, including role-playing, board games, CCGs and miniatures. I have been an games enthusiast since the early 1970’s and have a wealth of experience running professional tournament events at Australian Conventions over the past three decades.
My published RPG games include “Mindbane”, “The Web of the Widow”, “Guardian: Dark Awakenings”, “Guardian: Shadowland”, “Shades of Grey”, “Sanctuary” and “The Encyclopaedia Eldoria”.
Gencon OZ is based in Brisbane Australia and is in its third year. The Con attracted 15,000 people in 2009. Its a huge event that occupies the area of two football fields at the Brisbane Convention Centre. The web-site is located at: http://www.genconoz.com/
I am looking for enthusiastic and talented individuals who would like to run their own-designed rpg games at this year’s Gencon Oz 2010, held in Brisbane in September. I would like to see a classic mix of games represented, including:
- C’thulhu
- DnD 4th Ed
- DnD 3.5
- Pathfinder
- Traveller (or similar sci-fi games)
- Shadowrun
- Vampire: the Masquerade
Please don’t feel limited to the game systems listed above – I am very open to all suggestions.
This year I will be seeking sponsors for all games at the convention so that you can award prizes and trophies to your best players and/or groups.
In addition to great writers, I am also looking for great referees – people who would like to help run rpg events at the convention.
If you are interested in submitting games or refereeing games please contact me on (07) 33988745 (after 6pm) or email me on k.done@griffith.edu.au
I look forward to hearing from you at eventually meeting you all in September!
Regards,
Keith
