And I think for people who's first experience of D&D is watching Critical Role, they are in for a rocky start to their adventures, should they decide to have any.</p><p></p><p>It's making the journey to that point which I think a lot of groups struggle with. Especially ones online. Without getting into why online play is difficult, i think a lot of people who think like I do, who play like I used to, want to skip ahead to those good bits. And that's where I think a lot of the magic of D&D is lost. Part of the fun at the beginning is the sloppy mess. But that can also be fun when you get into character.</p></blockquote><p></p>
