[imager]http://www.creativemountaingames.com/images/new_releases/cmgfav/cmgut4.jpg[/imager]You'll find that this seemingly simple HTML/Javascript Utility Generator is more than meets the eye. Containing thousands of nouns and adjectives, it has the ability to churn out millions of random but useful titles for books, songs and poems for your Medieval/Fantasy game. Its HTML page appearance allows you to use the screen of you computer to present the titles as a stack of books (and print a picture of the stack to use as a handout in your game.) With each click of the generator, one dozen titles appear which can be taken as is, or manipulated to better suit your tastes or campaign. Further still, many of the titles will spark your imagination toward new plots and scenarios. It's as much an idea generator as a title generator!

Regarding Volume IV: Several hundred new adjectives added along with one thousand additional new fantasy character names.

Available as part of the Favorites Bundle at the EN World GameStore.

Sizing up the Target
Unlimited Titles Vol. 1 is an HTML/Javascript utility that allows the user to generate a series of fantasy book titles, which display on screen as a stack of books that the user can print out as a player handout. Written by Mark Clover of Creative Mountain Games, the utility is a $3 download.

First Blood
On first glance, Unlimited Titles is a useful tool for a GM fleshing out a library, or looking for titles of adventures or chapters of adventure stories. After some examination, though, it becomes clear that the best use of this little program might be to generate adventure ideas and hooks. Who knows what adventure “The Extra Dimensional Poet” tells, or what “The Secret of the Devilish Wheelwright’s Scream” might be. If you remember fondly the unusual book titles from dungeon module I5, The Lost Tomb of Martek, you’ll get a kick out of this product.

Coup de Grace
At $3, some might think it a bit expensive for a book title generator, but as a potential adventure idea generator, it’s priceless. Future releases will allow purchaser to expand the database with a free download.

This is the first product I've ever looked at from Creative Mountain Games. I must say that I was very pleased with it. The product I actually looked at was volumes I - III of Unlimited Titles. Basically, what this product does is create names. These names can be used for just about any literary work in your D&D game. It's a great timesaver for DM's who want to add detail to their game.

Lexus Unlimited Titles works by randomly selecting words from a rather large vocabulary and putting them together to form some rather nice combinations. Truly, I never would have thought of some of these on my own. Some of my personal favorites were "The Ugly Agent's Vegetable", "The Relieving Officer's Harsh Guidebook" (I'm getting images of a crosee between the "Kama Sutra" and "War and Peace") and "The Scorched Underwriter's Egg". Of course, the names ranged from nefarious to commonplace to funny - but they all sounded good and made sense.

One of my favorite things about this product is that it takes up zero shelf space. It sits quietly on your computer, and doesn't take up much space there! When you use it, it's very quick and easy. All you have to do is click on a button and you're presented with several names to choose from. Just click again for a new list. So there you go. This is a great tool for churning out creative (no pun intended) names.
