93 Games Studio is proud to announce an exciting opportunity for all gamers – the chance to become a signature character in an RPG. 93 Games Studio has begun work on the 2nd edition of its popular game, The Swing. For it we would like to bring in the concept of signature characters.
Taking a hint from the 4.5 star review from GamingReport.com (http://www.gamingreport.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Reviews&file=index&req=showcontent&id=949) – “the most impressive aspect of the Step System and Swing: the Reality Guide are the career paths background options. One could quite easily stat one’s self into the game.” We thought, why not write up actual fans and make them part of The Swing universe? Well, now you can become part of that universe officially.
We will hold a drawing on Nov. 1st to select three people to become signature characters in The Swing 2nd Edition. Each character will represent one of three major factions within the game – The Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.), Men in Black and the US National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). One of the three people selected will become the main character of the entire series (appearing in every Swing 2nd Edition product published). Each of the other two will make appearances in the core rule book and any book that deals with their respective faction. The three people selected will also receive a copy of every Swing 2nd Edition product both pdf and print. If you have a preference for a particular faction, please email prior to Oct. 31st and I will see to it if you win you will claim that faction.
How do you become eligible for the drawing? Quite simple actually. Every 93 Games Studio product purchased between Sept 1, 2005 and Oct 31, 2005 (any product, D20, Swing, any product) enters you into the contest. Some products though will give you more chances (unless noted, every product will only give you one chance).
• Print Version of The Swing – 10 chances (can be purchased from RPGNOW, LULU or through the 93 Games Studio website directly)
• The Swing: Reality Guide – 5 chances
• Any Swing Bundle – 5 chances
What about those who didn’t win? Everyone will win something. 10 people will be selected to receive a copy of every Swing 2nd Edition PDF. Everyone else will receive a copy of The Swing: The Reality Guide 2nd Edition PDF free upon release (Late 2005 - Early 2006).
