Ghostfire Gaming: A Question about Reliability

Has anyone had experience with Ghostfire Games?

I had never ordered from them and I decided to try Grim Hollow and DrakenHeim. I ordered the book in March 2024 along with Aetherial Expanse. They never stated that the entire order would be on hold until Aetherial released. I got a shipment notice in October 2024. It had not arrived by November 2024 so I checked in with them. I got a response that they'd check and then utter silence.

The books arrived today 13 months after order and 6 months after they reportedly shipped.

Is this common with them? I am hesitant to consider them in the future.

I backed the aetherial kickstarter, and it went fairly smoothly and arrived without fuss. Ghostfire is I think based in Australia and that’s where I live, which may have affected things though.
