Does anyone know whether the Ghostwalk Campaign Setting will require the existing edition of D & D to play, or will it be geared towards the Revised Edition?

Thnking you in advance,

I must have said that a long time ago (or maybe Sean did). I'm pretty far out of that loop, currently, and for all I know they made changes to the product to make it 3.5 compatible once they put it back on the schedule (that wouldnt' have been hard).

Man, I am SO looking forward to getting Ghostwalk. From what I've read so far, it is such a cool idea.

My only worry....how difficult will it be integrate into my campaign? My understanding is that it is big enough to *be* a campaign itself. I know I'll figure out a way though...I must.

I just hope my players don't hear anything about it. They probably won't, they're not very hip to the d20 world, really.

I'm so looking forward to the day I kill them off (or even better, kill half of them -- a TPK would be too suspcious) and then say, "So, when you wake up..."

Mwa ha ha...

I'm really looking forward to this book! Glad it's going to be here soon. :)

Monte, just out of curiosity, would you have rather had this book released earlier or is now just as good even with Arcana Unearthed coming up? Sean, feel free to throw your 2 cents in as well. I just directed this question at Monte because of Arcana Unearthed. :)

Since (in the context of existing campaign settings) it's intended to be a fairly remote location or at least a place that is mysterious and legendary, your group could take a journey to its location or could almost stumble upon it, depending on which way you want to go.

I would rather the book was released earlier. For one, I would have had it in my hands that much earlier. :) But now I feel it's overshadowed (in terms of current buzz about it) in by the 3.5 revision.

Thank you for the response.

At least in my view, your book is not overshadowed by 3.5. I'm actually looking *more* forward to Ghostwalk than 3.5 (I do want both). I hope that Wotc really puts the spotlight on it just before release.
