Giant felling, ash threat, cloak of the salamander items

I'm looking to use a dwarf from the d20 NPC wiki but I am not familiar with three of the items listed,

cloak of the salamander, lesser phoenix ash threat attached to his axe, and gauntlets of giantfelling.

Anybody familiar with these and able to tell me what they do?

Cloak of the Salamander: 3/day deals 1d6+7 fire damage to creature striking you in melee, 6000gp, immediate action. MIC 88.
Weapon augment crystal of Lesser Phoenix Ash Threat: target takes 3 points of fire damage next round, 2000gp, no action. MIC 65.
Gauntlets of Giantfelling: 3/day gain bonus on damage roll against creature larger than you, 2000gp, swift action. MIC 103.

They are from the MIC. In brief:

1. Fire shield as immediate action 3/day but only 1 round duration

2. 3 fire damage to targets hit by weapon in the following round, but doesn't add up with multiple hits.

3. 3x/day get increased damage on one attack as swift action, increases 1d6 per size difference up to 3 sizes.
