They were leading us to the dragon. Well we got side tracked and a couple of of the dwarfs slipped in a metal tunnel and went down the wrong way an sharp decline. Well the barbarian dives down after them (missed his save). The fighter heres some fighting screaming and such. Bolts down after him (not knowing what is there). Gets there in 2 rounds. Starts to hack away while protecting the barb and dwarfs.Me the next inline heres this decides to slide down on my large steel shield. Surfing <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f600.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":D" title="Big grin    :D"  data-smilie="8"data-shortname=":D" /> Now imagine a guy in full-plate screaming down a steep tunnel. I shoots down there just as the fighter finishes off the spider, just after moving away from the entrance after hearing me flying down, loud metal on metal screeching. I shoot out of the entrance, my DM says make a reflex save. Hmmm, full-plate cleric, with a +2 on reflex. I roll natural 20. The DM slaps himself in the head, trying to fugure out what i do.What happens: I fly out of the tunnel, get off my shield, reattach is to my arm, pull out my mace, and land on my feet in one smooth action. It was absolutely hiliarious. The dwarfs thought i was some sort of god. My shield was pretty scarred up though. Never did that again mind you.And yes we killed the dragon, I hit it with a staff which burst, another nautral 20. I disappeared in the flash and so did the dragon. The party got the items and got out. There was a cavein happening, killing the entire dwarven race that was there in the process. Oops. We left that bit out when we reported to the church what happened, they didnt ask and i didnt remember in charac that is.Got our xp though and it was great. The DM gave me extra cause i ruined his plans fer killing some members off.</blockquote>
