It is one of those things that the fantasy genre really needs to move beyond if one is to expect good stories to continue to arise from it.If "human" representing all possibly sorts of human beings that exist within our world and even some that do not thanks to the fantastical elements of that world all count as a single "race", then surely every other "race" should be as potentially diverse.And, with that in view, Githzerai and Githyanki are so damn similar that they might as well be different backgrounds of the same race that tend to specialize in different classes.</blockquote>
