Githzerai and Inertial Armor

The sample githzerai character in the Psionics Handbook has the feat Inertial Armor. However, how is this possible since the githzeria, although psionic, doesn't have the requisite power points to fuel the feat?

Inquiring minds want to know....

The same way they can manifest combat prescience, far punch, and feather fall at will without having any power points. It's part of being an innately psionic creature rather than taking the character class.

Yup, it's their innate ability. A house rule someone suggested was to treat all "innate" creatures as if they had a certain number of reserve PP per HD/level (I think the consensus was 10 per HD and 5 per class level). That way, they can use the Psionic weapon enchantment, for example. (Anyone remember Dakkon's blade in Torment? Seemed like an ideal candidate for this enchantment.)

I retooled Illithids so that they have equivalent levels of Psion according to their HD (see the Illithd Template thread in the House Rules forum).

I was going to do something similar with the Gith, but never got round to it. I guess I could give it a go this weekend. But first comes RBDM time on Saturday...
