It is true that I am very dedicated to making this project a success and I am very focused on spreading the word. I can honestly say that in this focus, I was blind to how the incentive could be perceived as a “pyramid scheme.” I offer my apology for being a tad overzealous in the defense of the project. That said I would like to point out that participation in the refund opportunity is completely voluntary. Even if you elect not to try to recruit more patrons, you are still getting a quality ENnie Nominated product, at a great price, in a carrying case that will serve you well, and look great doing it. Lets choose to look at this a different way. This is a patron project that will be funding the creation of a full color carrying case that can be used with Battlegraph Dry Erase Boards, or as GM/Players kits to hold books, Characters, dice, and other gaming supplies. It’s a great deal on a great product and a great experience. Like other patron model fund raising projects, the participants are encouraged to reach out and find others to participate to help ensure that the monetary goal needed to fund the project is reached as quickly as possible. Unlike ANY of the patron projects I have been a part of, this one will actually give you something to compensate you for your efforts. Recruit a single person; you will get a small percentage returned. Recruit many, and you will get a substantial amount returned. Recruit enough and you WILL get a full refund. 13 paying patrons at Tier 4 is enough to get a 100% refund of your package cost. So its a way of helping to complete the project and potentially landing you a FREE full box of 16 Battlegraph Dry Erase Boards, a spare box just for signing up at the highest tier, the experience of helping to choose the artist, and the subject of the artwork, and your name credited on the box. Show me ANY other patron modeled fund raiser that offers such an opportunity. Quoting Jerry….”Help me, Help you!”
