Living life in the moment is what is important to Beldak, and he lives each day like it is his last, with a loud greeting and a kind word for everyone he meets. </p><p></p><p>The nickname “Dark-eyes” was originally a joke coined by a halfling friend, Genling, who would always complain about having conversations with Beldak’s kneecaps. Genling now serves as Beldak’s valet. </p><p></p><p>Beldak has become so popular that he can pick and choose his matches now. The home town crowd loves him, and he always has time to listen to the flattery of an ardent fan. The loudest cheers in the arena are most usually for him. </p><p></p><p>The big half-ogre also works with several promising young gladiators who gladly pay him big commissions from their winnings for the honor of learning from such a well respected champion. Rarely, he also hires himself out for private engagements or bodyguard work for some rich noble. </p><p></p><p><strong>Signature move:</strong> Beldak loves to tire out his opponents while fighting defensively.
