Glove of Storing and the Holy Sword Spell

Faint transmutation; CL 6th; Craft Wondrous Item, shrink item; Price 10,000 gp (one glove)." <a href="http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicitems/wondrousitems.htm" target="_blank">Wondrous Items :: d20srd.org</a></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>It doesn't seem worth the effort/bother, but one possible work-around would be to: </p><p>1. apply Holy Sword/etc to your desired weapon to be stored</p><p>2. apply Animate Object to change its Type to "Construct" (artificial creature)</p><p>3. apply Temporal Stasis to permanently extend the preexisting spell effects and change the Construct back into an Item/Object so you can </p><p>4. finally, use the Gloves of Storing (which only stores Items/Objects)</p><p></p><p>Note, this convolution works bc WOTC held Dragon/Dungeon were part of the RAW so although Temporal Stasis doesn't specify the duration of preexisting spell effects are extended, Pazio indicated they are in "The Mud Sorcerer's Tomb" (Dungeon #138) by having their villain apply several spell's prior to his Temporal Stasis with the implication/understanding those preexisting spells would be in effect upon his release. </p><p><a href="http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards/community/gaming/dnd/temporalStasisAndSpellDurations" target="_blank">paizo.com - Paizo / Messageboards / Paizo Community / Gaming / D&D 3.5/d20/OGL / Archives / Temporal Stasis and Spell Durations</a></p></blockquote><p></p>
