The kobold, unperturbed, leads you back to Umraecyl's home with a stiff-legged marching stride. At the front gate, the guards unlock the gate, and the kobold escorts you inside, not deigning to spare a glance for the guards. The inside of the house is luxurious in an understated, graceful style. The walls in the front hallway are bare of decoration save for a single exquisite sculpture of crystal and gold, depicting a beautiful elven woman, staring pensively into space. The kobold closes the front door behind you, remaining outside himself. Before you can exclaim at being suddenly abandoned, a tall, dark figure steps into the hallway. "Greetings, my friends. I am Umraecyl. Welcome to my house. Please, come in. May I offer you refreshments?" Umraecyl is a Nesfylim, one of the dark-skinned elves not commonly seen on the surface of the enworld. His skin is nearly colorless, a smooth, almost jet black that gives no hint of his true age. His white hair is held back in a neat queue by a silver clasp. His clothing, though of muted colors and cut with the same understated elegance that his home displays, would not be at all out of place on a fashionable nobleman of Orussus or Monemvassia. He is not visibly armed. "And welcome, also, to my bazaar," he continues. "It is good to see more surface dwellers here. I trust you had a pleasant journey?"
