Bite attacks are really cool in humanoids, since it allows them to threaten the 5 ft. around them even if they're using a normal "reach" weapon (Glaive, Longspear, etc.).Why only 8 levels? Because it seems that most things in D&D really focus on multiples of 4, not 5. BAB, special abilities, etc. seem to focus around sets of 4 levels. So, I'm trying to make my racial PrCs balance around sets of 4 levels -- 4 or 8 so far.My goal is to reduce the number of actual breeding races in the world to "realistic" (plausible) numbers, but maintain the high number of cool D&D specific races. PrCs like this are one of my vehicles, the other being that the race is native to another place -- world, plane, whatever.(Likewise, I've made Goblinoids into a single race that doesn't "breed true" -- any pair of Goblinoids will have a mixed litter of Goblins, Hobgoblins & Bugbears.)Cheiromancer: Sadly, I don't think I can fudge all those racial stat bonuses into a mere pair of levels.
