I agree with the notion that while goblins come from a history of victimhood, because they have responded to it by victimizing others, fighting and even killing them is justified. It does leave open the door for stories of individual or even groups of goblins seeking a new way. As for why go all in on fighting Orcs, I envision Maglubiyet as a prideful deity. The sort who doesn't like to lose. My personal lore would be that Orcs were just the first peoples that Maglubiyet attempted to conquer after forming the Goblin peoples, was handed defeats for his troubles, and just can't help but keep doubling down out of bloody mindedness.</p></blockquote><p></p>
