In the MM it says that Goblins breed fast. How fast? Do they reach maturity in like 2 years and have kids by the handful immediately? It makes sense.... I always wondered about that. Plenty of animals are born with enough instincts where they reach maturity in a year or two, why not the same for Goblins? Any official word on this?
IMHO they probably reach maturity in two years and almost every birth is multiple (2-4) with a breeding time of 2-4 months before giving birth. So if a pair of Goblins escape into a cave to raise their young in 4-5 years they'll be a couple dozen and start spreading out.
For Orcs I've always figured they reached it much later, but they breed faster then humans.
Anyone know of any good official references for humanoid culture or any good fansites?
