I believe "Ex Libris Nocturnis" has had some of those, but I don't know details. Sorry.

Maybe someone on their forums could help.

I was remembering a "maiden of sorrows", but that was in Tolkien's cosmology (Nienna).

Nienna is the Valar who sympathises with sufferers and mourns the sorrows of the world.

Loviatar (Finnish mythos, the Forgotten Realms) is a deity of pain. Shar (Forgotten Realms) is referred to as the Lady of Loss.

It's for answering questions like this that I created the Gods List. It's got every deity from D&D to date (Cas, from Heroes of Horror notwithstanding...if anyone has that book could help me out in that regard, I'd be appreciative).

CAS
Demigod(Neutral Evil)
Portfolio: Spite, vengeance
Symbol: A rack of blood-tipped antlers
Domains: Destruction, Pain, Spite, Strength
