You Go Katie.
First Post
First time poster (obviously), so if this is in the wrong thread, my bad. Feel free to move it or delete it. I'm just looking for some friendly player feedback.
I'm too cheap to subscribe to DDI. I just use a friends account and don't really feel like posting under his name for character creation in the Wizards forums.
Since Martial Power 2 came out, one feat that really stood out to me is the Goliath Crusher feat.
When attacking a creature you have marked, your mace gains high crit.
Eh, not the best thing in the world, but then I got to thinking... and then this catastrophe happeded.
Forwarning, our group is not paragon yet and I just threw in what seemed like a decent start. Obviously +3 weapon x2 and armor isn't realistic, at least in our game, but I wanted to see what could be done.

Typically I go for better stat allocation and defenses (especially with a defender), but I wanted this Angry beast to just do damage.
Why Goliath: The Goliath Crusher feat.
Why Hybrid Warden/Ranger: Mark and Twin Strike.
Why Kensei: Idk, I have yet to obtain a Paragon character and I thought that maybe +1/+4 (at 16) would be semi-decent with multiple swings a round.
Why Battlefist: Simply put, it's a.... mace...? At +3 proff AND it's high crit when you mark. Very solid for twin strike IMO.
Feat Selection:
- Student of the Sword: Goliath Crusher is a fighter feat =/
- Hybrid Talent: Earthstrength is nice with a high Con.
- Hammer Rythm: You miss with one of your two strikes a around, they still take 5 damage. Of course that is assuming it works that way, at least that is how its worded (to me). I'm not a huge knowledge guy about rulings.
Powers: Eh, whatever swings more than once and hits hardest.
That's basically it I think. Mark your target and burying him into the ground with multiple attacks, quarry and hopefully a crit. It's basically a dual-weilding Barb, only not. It's an incredibly Feat intensive build that looks good (IMO) on paper.
Any suggestions? What can be done better? Stats? Defenses? Powers? Feats? Paragon Path? Everything?
