The above was taken directly from the Seeker preview PDF from October 2009 and got me to thrinking about ranged classes using a thrown weapon instead of a bow, crossbow or sling. There is also a nice picture in the PDF file of a PC dual-wielding a pair of what i think are Heavy Throwing Axes, having already loosed one which is sticking out of the collerbone of the enemy (very cool imo). My question is how would you account for a ranged class that wants to use Thrown weapons instead of something like a Bow or Crossbow? Do you force the player to purchase a dozen throwing weapons or just assume it returns to him? This is bad for flavor...but good for record keeping. Something small like throwing knives or shuriken aren't much of an issue, i'm really just talking about larger thrown weapons such as Javelins or Heavy Throwing Axes. These are expensive for 1st lvl characters to buy more than 1 or 2 total at 1st lvl. </span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: left"><span style="font-family: 'MentorSansStd'"><span style="font-size: 10px"><span style="color: #1f405e"><span style="font-family: 'MentorSansStd'"><span style="font-size: 10px"><span style="color: #1f405e"><span style="color: #1f405e"></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: left"><span style="font-family: 'MentorSansStd'"><span style="font-size: 10px"><span style="color: #1f405e"><span style="font-family: 'MentorSansStd'"><span style="font-size: 10px"><span style="color: #1f405e"><span style="color: #1f405e"><span style="font-size: 10px"><span style="font-family: 'MentorSansStd'"><span style="color: #ffffff">This also goes for a magic item with the same concept.
