Message: <blockquote data-quote="Greybar" data-source="post: 3586525" data-attributes="member: 4938">Okay, I went back over it, and there is some oddity here.  Gansk mentions comparing to the angels' Protective Aura, which can be dispelled and re-established (though it doesn't say "dismissed", only "dispelled"), as an exception to most Su abilities, which cannot be Dispelled.  One must wonder why the designers made that exception.  The archon's ability doesn't have the special text about dispelling and re-establishing, and instead mentions it as "always surrounds".  This maneuver was made in post 715, for those interested in checking in on it.  It is rather unfair of me to have not contested it way back then and now undo it on him, but I'm afraid that looks like the best thing to do.Worse, since I didn't have the magic circle in my list of buffs for Armstrong, the recent hits against him at AC27 should have failed, since his AC is actually 29.  That means those two claws from the last exchange actually missed.  His hp are now 80 as a result of correcting that, rather than 70.133: Armstrong's full attack!  He hits Ringo once, and then critically, and then misses.  Highest miss 15, lowest hit 28. Damage (19 + 26 + 23 = 68).  Ringo has 49 hp left.</blockquote>
