I'm interested in finding a good adventure where many if not all of the combat encounters have something other than a "to the death" objective. In other words, the characters can fail the encounter without having anybody die, or needing to retreat to prevent somebody from dying.
Not that the threat of death need not exist, mind you, just that it need not be the sole factor in every combat encounter.
I'm running a D&D 5th edition campaign in a standard fantasy setting, but we've been doing a lot of adventure conversion to date, and I'm more than happy to use an adventure from any system. All I'm interested in is an adventure that is, on the whole, decent enough to actually be played through, instead of cannibalized for interesting parts.
Anybody have any favorites?
