Good aliens book?

Dragonstar's (Fantasy Flight Games) Galactic Races is tasty. Dragonmech (White Wolf) has a few, as does Trinity (ArtHaus). You can also find some Star Trek aliens in Prime Directive D20 (Amarillo Design Board), and Star Wars aliens in Star Wars (of course). Traveller D20 (Quick Link Interactive/RPG Realms) has some good ones. Don't forget D20 Modern: Dark*Matter, which reprints the races that appeared in Alternity.

Polyhedron #151 had the 3Ed version of Spelljammer, including its alien races.

However, don't forget that there are a LOT of D&D (or any D20 FRPG) Monsters that make great aliens- especially Aberrations. Personally, I'm using Beholders & Mind Flayers as Aliens in some of my modern D20 games (specifically for a War of the Worlds game).

But even the familiar Gnoll or Bugbear can be repurposed- think of them as a creature that gets Hunted (Tosk from DS9), or Hunts (Predator, Jem Hadar), possibly for the amusement of other aliens.

The 'Bulldogs! Races' PDF's aliens are apparently usable with any d20 sci-fi game. That's what they say, anyway. In fact, they go further than that, but never mind that. Might still be worth checking out. I don't have any experience with it, but it looks like there are some reviews here and there (at EN World and RPGNow) - they might help.

I've got the Bulldogs RPG, but don't have the Alien Races pdf. The core book is pretty cool. It is for 3.0. I used alot of stuff with it for my Dragonstar Campaign.

Oh yeah, this is a good one: http://enworld.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=1090&it=1

This CORE Command supplement adds more aliens, more equipment and more useful bits and rules to make your campaign even better. Players will find additional races and tools to further their characters, while Gamemasters will delight in a number of galactic baddies, fauna and flora. Dual-Statted for both Silhouette and Open Gaming License (OGL) gaming!

Requires the use of the Silhouette CORE rulebook(tm) published by Dream Pod 9, Inc., or a Roleplaying Game Core Book published by Wizards of the Coast(R), Inc.

Picked this up for five bucks at I-CON.
